We donate part of our annual sales to businesses and nonprofits working together for a healthier planet, and we set up our own environmental projects in the landfills of Indonesia. Every Snapperx surfboard plays a role in restoring an entire Indonesian ecoregio – forest, beach, coral reef and animal life! Here’s how it’s done:
THE PROBLEM Indonesia has lots of coastal jungle. But as the forests come down, sediments from erosion and chemical wastewater from agriculture reach the ocean, impacting the coral reefs. So far around 95% of all Indonesian reefs are destroyed, damaged, or degraded.

THE PROBLEM The three kilometers of coast on Temboan beach are nesting ground for various rare sea turtle species, including the endangered leatherback turtles who come here to lay eggs. They are under continuous pressure from hunters and poachers.
